lINHA POLIGONAL / Polygonal Line
A polygon is formed by successive segments (sides), the pairs of consecutive line segments share a common end (vertex) but not collinear*, and no more than two sides share an extreme.
* Situated in a straight line; which is a straight line in common.

Linha poligonal Aberta / Open Polygonal line
A polygon is said to be open when the ends do not match.

Linha poligonal Aberta Simples / simple open polygonal line
A polygon is said to be simple if the only points common to both sides are vertices.

Linha poligonal fechada / Closed polygon line
A polygon line is closed when the ends match.
A polygon line is closed when the ends match.
Linha poligonal Fechada simples e parte externa e interna / Closed polygon SIMPLE AND OUTSIDE AND INSIDE
A simple closed polygonal line divides the plane into two regions, an inner and an outer, being the inner part of the line limited and the outer part of the line, unlimited.
